2020 Wire Fraud
On June 29, 2020, Harris fraudulently claimed that his business had 10 employees and a monthly payroll of more than $50,000 and received a forgivable loan of $125,579 from the Small Business Administration (SBA) under their COVID-related Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).[2][3]
On June 30, 2020, Harris fraudulently claimed annual revenue of more that $859,000 and received another $149,900 loan and $10,000 as a non-repayable advance from the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan program.[3]

On July 3, 2023, Harris pleaded guilty to wire fraud. Harris faces up to 20 years in prison.[2]
On December 11, 2023, Harris was sentenced to four months in prison, followed by four months of home detention. Harris was ordered to pay restitution of $285,479.[5]
