2024 Sexual Assault
On January 10, 2024, Hain was in the house of a woman and her young child. The woman told Hain to "absolutely" not touch her. Hain sexually assaulted the woman.[9][5]
The victim reported the incident to the police.[5]
Response Timeline
Police recorded a phone conversation between Hain and the victim, with Hain "essentially conceding" to the assault.[5]
Hain was suspended.[5]
On January 11, 2024, Hain was charged with one felony count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse - forcible compulsion, one felony count of rape - forcible compulsion, two felony counts of sexual assault, and misdemeanor counts of indecent assault with forcible compulsion and indecent assault without the consent of others.[9][10]
