Response Timeline
Klyczek was suspended for four days without pay for violating department regulations. Klyczek was criticized for failing to interview all involved parties and didn't "appropriately assess" damage to the vehicles. Klyczek allowed Aimee Scholl to drive the vehicle from the scene even though both air bags had deployed, a headlight was missing, and it had sustained significant front-end damage.[3]
