2022 Theft Arrest
Between November 4, 2022 and December 3, 2022, Reed visited a retailer on nine different occasions and intentionally did not scan items in the self-checkout line. A loss-prevention officer working for the retailer noticed Reed, and later reviewed prior purchases. Reed stole over $575 in merchandise.[2]
Response Timeline
On December 3, 2022, Reed was arrested on 8 counts of petit theft, one count of obtaining property by fraud, one count of gross fraud, and one count of petit theft $100-$750.[2]
Reed resigned.[2]
