On May 29, 2022, a woman was on a first date with Finley at his house. After Finley prepared her a drink, the woman felt "paralyzed" and "really sleepy". Finley made several attempts to undress the woman and touched her intimately.[1]

The woman was able to leave after Finley fell asleep. She took a drug test, which tested positive for amphetamines.[1]

The woman reported the incident to the Nassau County Florida Sheriff's Office the next day.[1]
