2021 Drug Trafficking
In February 2021, Castillo took around 10 kilograms of cocaine during an investigation that he did not turn into evidence. Castillo arranged for two kilograms to be found in a subsequent search, and arranged for another person to sell the rest.[3]

On February 1, 2024, Castillo was arrested and charged with possessing with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine. Castillo faces between 10 years and life in prison.[3]
On February 14, 2024, Castillo pleaded not guilty.[4]
