2023 Child Pornography

In December 2022, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force about a person who had uploaded suspected child pornography. The investigation led to Lemon. A search warrant for Lemon's electronic devices revealed the child pornography.[1]

Response Timeline

In December 2022, the department revoked Lemon's police powers and he was reassigned to an administrative role.[1]

On July 10, 2023, Lemon was arrested and charged with five misdemeanor counts of possession of child pornography.[1][2]

Lemon was placed on administrative leave.[1]
