2009 Domestic Violence Accusation
In 2009, Seeders and the mother of his child accused each other of domestic violence and were granted protective orders against each other. The orders were dropped five days later at their mutual request.[1]
2011 Domestic Violence Arrest
In 2011, the mother of Seeders' child claimed that Seeders grabbed her by the neck and threw her to a couch.[1]

2020 Death of Brian Thurman
On November 22, 2020, Seeders stopped Thurman's car for non-functional taillights. Running the license plates revealed that the vehicle had been stolen. As Seeders approached the vehicle at gunpoint, Thurman tried to back up.[4]
Seeders shot, and Thurman died at the hospital.[5]
Seeders claimed that Thurman had run him over with the vehicle.[4]
Part of the incident was captured by Seeders' body-worn camera before it was dislodged when the car reversed.[5]

2021 Domestic Violence Arrest
In May 2021, Seeders allegedly hit, shoved, and strangled a woman he was dating.[1]

On October 13, 2022, Seeders was sentenced to one year in jail. Seeders can avoid serving jail time by undergoing a mental health assessment and surrendering his certification.[6]
