2022 Domestic Violence Arrest
On September 5, 2022, Cotter was off duty when he was involved in a domestic violence incident.[2]
Police responded to his house, where his wife accused him of attacking her.[1]
Response Timeline
On September 6, 2022, Cotter was arrested and charged with domestic violence (strangulation or suffocation) and third-degree domestic violence harassment.[2]
Cotter was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of criminal and administrative investigations.[2]
