2022 Road Rage Arrest
On October 3, 2022, Harris was driving his personal vehicle when he was cut off. Harris showed his badge and demanded the driver pull over. The driver, not knowing Harris was an actual officer, drove to a local business, where Harris ordered the three adults and two children to exit the car and get on the ground at gunpoint.[1][2]
A passenger in the car called the police.[1]
The interaction in the parking lot was captured by surveillance cameras.[2]
Response Timeline
On October 3, 2022, Harris was arrested and charged with five counts of armed false imprisonment and three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Harris pleaded not guilty.[3]
