Cross was suspected of viewing inappropriate sexual material on the internet involving a child.[1]
Response Timeline
Arkansas State Police opened an investigation.[1]
On March 12, 2024, Cross was arrested and charged with 35 counts of Distributing, Possessing, and/or Viewing Materials Depicting Sexually Explicit Conduct Involving a Child.[1][2]
Cross was fired.[1]
Cross pleaded guilty to 19 of the original counts.[2]
On July 26, 2024, a judge sentenced Cross to three years in prison.[2]
