On October 28, 2011, Auderer and other officers received the Excellence Award from the Seattle Police Foundation for demostrating "exceptional work performance within their position that made positive contributions to the Police Department".[4]

Response Timeline
On September 28, 2023, Auderer was moved to "a non-operational position".[5]
On January 23, 2024, the Seattle Office of Police Accountability (OPA) concluded that Auderer "violated SPD's professionalism and bias-based policing policies". A recommendation for discipline will be sent to the chief of police.[6]
The OPA recommended discipline ranging from a 270-day suspension to termination.[7]
By July 17, 2024, Auderer was fired.[2]
