Incident Reports

2022 Inappropriate Contact

In late 2021, a 16-year-old girl served food to Greene at her workplace. They saw each other the next day at her school, where Greene was a school resource officer.[1]

In early 2022, the girl received a friend request on social media from Greene, who claimed to be looking for a high school acquaintance of his. Greene asked her for sexually suggestive pictures.[1]

On May 21, 2022, the department received a complaint that Greene made "unwanted contact" with the girl over social media and at her job. Greene had previously been told by the girl's employer that he was not welcome at the business as he "had been harassing her for several months".[1]

Response Timeline

The department conducted an internal investigation. Greene claimed that the girl had originally contacted him on social media and had sent him a picture. When investigators told Greene that they were going to get a warrant for the social media company, Greene started to change his story.[1]

On May 21, 2022, an order of protection was issued, requiring Greene to have no contact with the girl.[1]

On May 25, 2022, Greene was suspended with pay, pending the completion of the investigation.[1]

On June 2, 2022, Greene was found to have not broken the law, but was terminated for "dishonesty and untruthfulness" during the investigation.[1]
