2023 Death of Steve Perkins
Response Timeline
Mukadam was moved to administrative duties.[3]
On December 7, 2023, three officers were fired and a fourth was placed on unpaid suspension. Mukadam's status was not publicized.[4][5]
On December 12, 2023, Perkins' family filed a lawsuit against the city, the officers, the towing company, and the bank.[6]
