2021 Armed Robbery
On November 19, 2021, Robillard held a naked man at gunpoint at a vacation rental home, filmed him, threatened to send the video to others, demanded money, and forced him to sign a contract to pay off a debt.[2][3]
Response Timeline
On November 27, 2021, Robillard was arrested and charged with robbery with a firearm, false imprisonment, and extortion.[4] Robillard faced 10 years to life in prison.[2]
Robillard was suspended after his arrest.[4]
Robillard pleaded no contest to robbery with a firearm, extortion with a weapon and false imprisonment with a weapon.[2]
In December 2022, Robillard was sentenced to five years in prison, with credit for about a year already served.[2]
On November 27, 2023, the state revoked Robillard's certification.[5]
