2019 False Statement
On October 18, 2019, Castillo stopped a man for nearly causing an accident by making an unsafe turn in front of other traffic. The man was given a sobriety test and was arrested for suspicion of DUI.[3]
Castillo's body-worn camera footage showed that there was no other traffic when the man turned.[3]
